Product List
Steel elbow, steel pipe bend, tee, reducer, cross, cap,weldolet,etc.
ASTM A234 is Standard Specification for steel pipe fittings includes carbon and alloy steel material for moderate and high temperature services. It covers steel fittings of seamless and welded types. Steel Pipe fittings are applied in pressure pipelines and in pressure vessel fabrications. These fittings material consist of steel, forgings, bars, plates, seamless or HFW (fusion welded) pipe products, with filler metal added.
W = WELDABLE / wrought
P = RELATED TO P NUMBER OF ALLOY MATERIAL
B = REFER TO MINIMUM YIELD OF MATERIAL
They are available in latest revision of ASME B16.9, B16.11, MSS-SP-79, MSS-SP-83, MSS-SP-95, and MSS-SP-97. Also widely used in pressure piping and in pressure vessel fabrication for service at moderate and elevated temperatures. The grades are ASTM A234 WPB, WPC, WP5, WP9, WP91, WP11, WP12 and WP22.
Standards: ANSI /ASME B16.9, B16.28, MSS-SP-43.
Outer Diameter Range: 1/2” to 48”
Thickness Range: SCH 10, sch 20, SCH 40, SCH STD, SCH 80, SCH XS, SCH 160, SCH XXS etc.
Steel pipe fittings manufacturing types in forged, threaded, butt- welded, and seamless.
Appearance detection, appearance is mainly to intuitively observe whether steel pipeline products have scars, rust, knock marks, cracks, flattening and other defects, whether to meet the relevant product appearance standards.
Specifications and models shall be tested by measuring tools such as calipers, meters, micrometers and thickness meters in accordance with the contract specifications: pipe outer diameter, inner diameter,wall thickness, length, ellipticity and size error range shall be accurately measured to check whether the products conform to the supply requirements or the national standard sizes of corresponding products.
Material detection, chemical element analysis of steel pipeline products by spectroscopic, can also be detected by direct reading spectrometer,which is very simple and convenient.
Hydraulic pressure test, according to the requirements of the pipeline product pressure to test whether can ensure the actual use of pressure, such as: 10 kg (1MPA steel pipe), 16 kg (16PN flange), and other pressure requirements.
Flaw detection, commonly used flaw detection inspection methods are: ultrasonic detection, X-ray detection. Flaw detection can also be divided into: first-level flaw detection, second-level flaw detection, third-level flaw detection, etc., can be carried out according to the actual needs of the third-party testing institutions spot sampling flaw detection.
A234 WPB is the most common material used for carbon steel butt welded fittings.
