Blind flanges are also called pipe jams. It is a flange without a hole in the middle, used to seal the pipe mouth. The FUNCTION IS THE same AS the head and the tube cap, except that the blind seal is a deTAChable sealing device, and the head seal is not ready to be opened again. The blind flange is mainly used to completely isolate the production medium to prevent the production from being affected or even causing accidents due to the loose closure of the cut-off valve. The blind plate should be set in the parts that require isolation, such as the equipment nozzle, before and after the cut-off valve or between the two flanges. The role of the blind flange

From the appearance, the blind flange is generally divided into plate plate blind flange, figure 8 blind flange, insert plate, and gasket ring (insert plate and gasket ring are mutually blind pass). The blind plate plays the role of isolation and cutting, and the head, pipe cap, welding plug plays the same role. Because of its good sealing performance, for the need for complete isolation of the system, generally as a reliable means of isolation. A plate plate blind is a solid circle with a handle used for systems that are normally isolated. Production process of blind flange

Generally divided into four kinds: forging, casting forging, plate cutting, casting. Among them, the price of forging products is the highest, followed by plate, casting and forging the lowest. And casting is the most inferior kind of process. And the quality of forging and plate is good, casting and forging is slightly worse.
