Different design rules
1) Stainless steel seamless pipe produces work hardening during cold working, for example, it is anisotropic when bent, that is, the transverse and longitudinal properties are different. The increase in strength from cold working can be used, although this increase in strength can increase the safety factor to some extent if the bending area is small compared to the total area and this increase is negligible.
2) The shape of the stress/strain curve is different, the elastic limit of stainless steel is about 50% of the yield stress, which is lower than the yield stress value of medium carbon steel as far as the minimum value specified in the standard is concerned.
3) Stainless steel has no yield point, usually expressed as ó 0.2, the yield stress is considered as the equivalent value.
Different kinds
There are many types of stainless steel seamless pipes, which refer to alloy steels with Cr content greater than or equal to 13% and stainless steel in the atmosphere. There are austenitic stainless steel seamless pipes, ferritic stainless steel seamless pipes, martensitic stainless steel seamless pipes and so on. Stainless steel seamless pipes are generally not magnetic, but they are not completely correct. Austenite is not magnetic, but ferrite is, but it is relatively weak. Different stainless steel seamless pipes have different corrosion resistance and different corrosion resistance to different media.
Different performance
The first is in terms of corrosion resistance. However, in practical applications, stainless steel seamless pipes have an irreplaceable role for other steel grades due to their excellent properties. For example, some high-temperature resistant stainless steel seamless pipes are used. Decorative materials, as well as the excellent mechanical properties of stainless steel seamless pipes make them used in various manufacturing industries.
Different chemical elements
1) Ordinary steel is carbon steel, that is, iron-carbon alloy. According to the level of carbon content, it is divided into low cs seamless pipe (to be called wrought iron), medium cs seamless pipe and cast iron. Generally, those with a carbon content of less than 0.2% are called low cs seamless pipes, commonly known as wrought iron or pure iron; those with a carbon content of 0.2-1.7% are called steel; those with a content of more than 1.7% are called pig iron.
2) The steel containing more than 12.5% chromium and having high resistance to corrosion by external media (acid, alkali salt) is called stainless steel seamless pipe. According to the structure of the steel, stainless steel seamless pipes can be divided into martensitic, ferritic, austenitic, ferritic-austenitic, and precipitation hardening stainless steel seamless pipes, according to the standard GB3280-92 , a total of 55 regulations.
Different uses
1) With the implementation of my country's reform and opening-up policy, the national economy has achieved rapid growth, and a large number of urban housing, public buildings and tourist facilities have been built, which has put forward new requirements for the supply of hot water and domestic water. In particular, the issue of water quality has been paid more and more attention by people, and the requirements have been continuously improved. Galvanized pipe, a commonly used pipe material, will gradually withdraw from the historical stage under the influence of relevant national policies because of its corrosiveness. Plastic pipes, composite pipes and copper pipes have become common pipes in pipeline systems. However, in many cases, stainless steel seamless pipes are more advantageous, especially thin-walled stainless steel seamless pipes with a wall thickness of only 0.6 to 1.2 mm are used in high-quality drinking water systems, hot water systems and water supply systems that put safety and hygiene first. Safe and reliable, hygienic and environmentally friendly, economical and applicable. It has been proved by engineering practice at home and abroad that it is one of the best, new, energy-saving and environmentally friendly pipes in the water supply system. It is also a very competitive water supply pipe. comparable effect.
2) CS seamless pipes are generally used as pipelines for transporting fluids, such as pipelines for transporting oil, natural gas, gas, water and certain solid materials. Compared with solid steel such as round steel, steel pipe has the same flexural and torsional strength, and is lighter in weight. It is an economical section steel and is widely used in the manufacture of structural parts and mechanical parts, such as oil drill pipes, automobile transmission shafts, Bicycle racks and steel scaffolding used in building construction, etc.
