According to the different strength requirements, the petroleum cracking pipe can adopt several heat treatment methods such as normalization, normalization plus fire and quenching and tempering (quenching and tempering). Compared with normalization, quenching and tempering treatment can give full play to the potential of metal materials. Therefore, the currently produced high-strength oil pipes are widely used in quenching and tempering treatment, and have the tendency to replace the normalized treatment.
At present, the quenching and tempering treatments used in the production of high-strength petroleum cracking pipes are as follows:
① Heating in a continuous straight-through furnace, quenching in a water tank, and then tempering in a continuous straight-through furnace;
②Heating in the walking furnace, spraying water for quenching, and then causing fire in the walking furnace;
③Heating in a sub-chamber rapid furnace, spraying water for quenching, and then tempering in a rapid heating furnace or roller hearth furnace;
④Induction heating, water spray quenching, induction furnace tempering. Among the above-mentioned methods, the latter has a better effect, not only the output is high, but the surface of the steel pipe is relatively smooth.
①In order to improve the mechanical properties of the steel pipe
②In order to improve the plasticity of metal;
③In order to obtain a certain organizational status;
④In order to eliminate the residual stress after cold deformation.
