Different definitions
Welded pipe refers to a steel pipe with seams on the surface, which is formed by bending and deforming a steel strip or steel plate into a round, square or other shape and then welded; generally, the fixed length is 6 meters. The production process of welded pipe is simple, the production efficiency is high, the variety and specifications are many, and the equipment investment is low, but the general strength is lower than that of seamless pipe;
Galvanized pipe refers to a welded steel pipe with a hot-dip galvanized or electro-galvanized layer on the surface; galvanizing can increase the corrosion resistance of the steel pipe and prolong its service life.
Different classification
Welded steel pipes are divided into straight seam welded pipes and spiral welded pipes according to the form of welds; arc welded pipes, electric resistance welded pipes, (high frequency, low frequency) gas welded pipes, furnace welded pipes according to the production process; Welded steel pipes, galvanized welded steel pipes for low-pressure fluid transportation, electric-welded steel pipes for belt conveyor rollers, etc.
Galvanized pipes are divided into cold galvanized steel pipes and hot-dip galvanized steel pipes; cold galvanized steel pipes have been banned, and the latter has been advocated by the state to be temporarily available.
Different uses
Welded pipes are widely used in tap water engineering, petrochemical industry, chemical industry, electric power industry, agricultural irrigation, urban construction, and are one of the twenty key products developed in my country.
For liquid transportation: water supply, drainage;
For gas transportation: gas, steam, liquefied petroleum gas;
For structure: for piling pipe, for bridge; for wharf, road, building structure, etc.
Hot-dip galvanized steel pipes are widely used in construction, machinery, coal mines, chemicals, electric power, railway vehicles, automobile industry, highways, bridges, containers, sports facilities, agricultural machinery, petroleum machinery, prospecting machinery, greenhouse construction and other manufacturing industries.
