The chemical composition and mechanical properties test results (including tensile strength, yield, and elongation) of steel pipes with a pressure of 2.5mpa and above should meet the requirements. The pipe used should be INSPECTED before installation. The pipe with heavy skin and cracks should not be used, and there should not be significant scratches, pits, and other hard injuries. The wall thickness of the pipe shall meet the design requirements. Adequate corrosion margins should be considered for pipelines used in water treatment processes.

The sealing surface of the flange shall be smooth and clean without visible radial grooves, and the flange itself shall be free of burrs, pores, cracks, or other defects that may reduce the strength or reliability of the connection.
The bolts and nuts used for fastening shall have complete threads without scars and burrs. The bolts and threads shall be well-matched without jamming or loosening sensation. The gasket should be flat, its hardness is slightly lower than the flange.
Plastic or fiberglass pipes and fittings are often used in water treatment and reverse osmosis projects. If this is the case, the quality and strength of the adhesive must be guaranteed. The construction personnel is required to strictly follow the bonding process to ensure that the bonding has been solidified and reached the predetermined strength before installation. The tees, elbows, and other pipe fittings connected with the pipe shall be molded and pressed by the manufacturer with the equipment supplied.
Plastic, FRP pipes, and fittings should be used indoors, not in the hot sun for a long time. To avoid aging deterioration. The spacing between the support and hanger of plastic and the FRP pipeline should conform to the design regulations to avoid vertical deformation after filling with the medium. When using a metal clamp, there should be a rubber cushion. Glass steel pipes connected with flanges should be prevented from deformation due to uneven force. The rubber-lined pipe should be checked for electric spark leakage before installation. The solvent that can dissolve rubber should not be contacted during use. All flanges should be carefully checked and strictly tested by water pressure (1.25 times of working pressure). No welding or drilling shall be performed on the installed rubber lining pipe.
The pipes used for conveying acid and alkali should not be laid overhead. The flanges and valves in the places where people are walking must have protective covers or shielding plates. The conveying pipe of concentrated acid and alkali should be used as long as possible to reduce the joint.
